Derby Photos Quiz : The Answer(s)

A)
This was The Roebuck, located at 1 Amy Street on the corner of Stockbrook Road. It was demolished October/November 2007.
The pub had a Plaque honouring the memory of young Derby men killed in the First World War. The origins of the unusual memorial are unclear but it is thought it was put on the outside wall of the the Roebuck Inn in Amy Street, Derby, to honour regulars who volunteered to fight but never returned. It reads: "In proud and glorious memory of our boys. Their name liveth forevermore, greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
