DP-OLDBNC-01 - Express passenger 4-6-0 "patriot" class locomotive On the Five Arches bridge near Derby Railway Station, taken around 1960. Rebuilt by H G Ivatt with a stanier type taper boiler in 1946 from an original parallel boiler design by sir Henry Fowler. The loco in the photo is "45522 PRESTATYN". Rebuilt patriots like jubilee and royal scott locomotives had similar stanier taper boilers designed by sir william stanier and were very much alike.
DP-OLDBNC-02 - A Loco 43942 On the Five Arches bridge near Derby Railway Station, taken around 1960.
DP-OLDBNC-03 - A goods train heading north out of Derby Station. The engine is a Black 5, taken around 1960
DP-OLDBNC-04 - A steam engine heading north from Derby station, Going to Sheffield and then possibly on to York.
DP-OLDBNC-05 - The old and the new on Five Arches bridge, Derby 1960
DP-OLDBNC-06 - A picture of the signal gantry just outside Derby Station heading north in 1960.
