Wilmorton is a small village, which sits between Alvaston and Osmaston. It was given the name Wilmorton in 1897, the main road through it is London road.
In 1796 a canal was built here which helped to bring a lot of trade to this area, This canal was closed in 1964 but is now being restored to its former glory.
