Other Information : This is the Bridge pub on Mansfield road. This was built in 1789 as a house by William Forester and was turned into an inn in the 19th Century.

Other Information : This is St Mary's bridge crossing the River Derwent.
This stone bridge was designed by Thomas Harrison of Chester and was built between 1789 and 1794.

Other Information : This is portrait view of St Mary's bridge crossing the River Derwent, In the distance is St Mary's church.

Saint Mary's bridge is the site of the murder of the Derby Martyrs, the Catholic priests names were Robert Ludlum, Nicholas Garlick and Richard Sympson.
On July 24th 1588 they were executed and their dismembered bodies were displayed on the poles on the approaches to St Mary's Bridge.

Other Information : This old building is the chapel of St Mary on the bridge.
It is one of only six left in England, It was built in 1326 and was restored to it's present condition in 1930.

Other Information : Saint Pauls church built in 1849 by Barry & Brown, the aisle was added in 1897 by P.H. Currey
It is located on Mansfield road right next to Little Chester recreation ground. You can easily miss it altogether because it is in a very secluded area surrounded by trees.

Other Information : This is the Coach & Horses pub on the corner of Mansfield road/Old chester road. It dates from at least 1719 when it was called the Crown, It got it's current name in 1750. It became the property of Offiler's in 1905.

Other Information : This is the home of Derby's new police station, They moved to here from Full street in 2000 which is now boarded up. This area is known as Saint Mary's Wharf.
