Other Information : This was Berlins pub which since June 28th 2001 has been converted to Aruba on Becket street, next to it is the Flamingo and Firkin pub.
This building was built in 1893.

Other Information : This is Flamingo and Firkin pub on Becket street. This pub has large brewing vats in the back of it and does it's own home beers.
UPDATE : As of 2nd May 2002 this has now become Flares.

Other Information : This is all that remains of the former Duckworth Square as viewed from the bottom where Colyear Street meets Becketwell Lane. On the right of the photo you can see the Pennine hotel and Destiny & Elite nightclub. In the 1960's this was Top Rank Bowling Arcade which was part of the Pennine hotel (now called The Heritage Hotel) complex.
Duckworth square was built in the 1960's and the shops closed down in the 1990's. This area will be redeveloped as part of the Derby Cityscape project.

Other Information : Destiny and Elite resides where the Pink Coconut used to be. It was opened in 2000. The bar nearest the camera is Dylans this used to be called Brannigans.
In Nov 2001 it became Heroes
Further down Colyear street is a casino.

Other Information : Here we see the night club, Hereos and the Casino at the bottom of Colyear street. At the bottom is Derby's original Telephone Exchange building.
